EMM Founder: Aaron Ellis
My journey began with a deep passion for music, which eventually blossomed into a successful career in the music and media industry. As both a musician and an entrepreneur, I came to see music as a powerful metaphor for life—”when it comes from within, it flows.” Alongside my professional path, I faced personal challenges, including the painful complexities of intimate partner violence and ongoing custody issues. Navigating these struggles taught me resilience in the face of adversity and revealed a profound empathy that has become the foundation of my approach to life and leadership. I’ve come to view these challenges as a “superpower”—the ability to elevate those around me by bringing clarity and harmony to even the most chaotic situations. Today, my mission is to help others elevate their lives, pursue their passions, and live fully on their own terms.
Our mission is to be a beacon of hope and a force for change, challenging societal norms and advocating for true equality, fairness, and inclusion. We, the Empower Men Movement, stand united in our commitment to uplift, support, and empower men who have faced intimate partner violence, abuse, and narcissistic abuse. We recognize the profound impact of these experiences and the often-overlooked struggles that men endure.

1. We Stand for Healing: We believe that every man has the right to heal from the pain of abuse, to reclaim his power, and to find peace within himself. We stand with those who have been paralyzed by fear, who have been financially challenged, and who have felt alone in their struggles. Through our movement, we provide a safe space for men to share their stories, seek support, and begin their journey toward healing. |
2. We Stand for True Masculinity: We reject outdated stereotypes that define masculinity as stoic, emotionless, or invulnerable. True masculinity is balanced, encompassing both strength and vulnerability, courage and compassion, logic and emotion. We empower men to embrace their full selves, including the feminine energy within, recognizing that true strength lies in balance and wholeness. |
3. We Stand for Fairness and Equality: We challenge the biases and injustices that men face, particularly in the realms of intimate partner violence, custody battles, and the legal system. We advocate for a world where men are treated with fairness and dignity, where their voices are heard, and where they have equal access to support and resources. |
4. We Stand for Unity: Our movement is not just for men; it is for everyone. We recognize that true empowerment comes from unity, from the coming together of masculine and feminine energies. We believe in the power of connection, collaboration, and mutual support. By empowering men, we also empower women, children, and communities. We are all interconnected, and our healing is collective. |
5. We Stand for Awareness and Education: We are committed to raising awareness about the realities of abuse against men, challenging societal norms, and educating the public. Through our content, podcast, and collaborations with experts like Denise Hines, we shine a light on the often-hidden struggles of men, providing the knowledge and tools needed to create meaningful change. |
6. We Stand for Action and Impact: Words alone are not enough. We are dedicated to taking tangible actions that make a difference. Through our non-profit arm, EmpowerMen.org, we provide financial assistance to men in need, ensuring that those who cannot afford to fight back have the support they need. We engage in advocacy, influence policy, and work to reform systems that have failed men. |
7. We Stand for Love, Compassion, and Understanding: At the heart of our movement is love. Love for those who have suffered, love for those who are healing, and love for those who are striving to create a better world. We approach every challenge with compassion and understanding, knowing that true change comes from a place of empathy and connection. |
8. We Stand for Growth and Evolution: We are committed to growing our movement, building a community of supporters, and evolving in response to the needs of those we serve. We will continually strive to reach more people, expand our impact, and adapt to the changing landscape of society. Our vision is bold, and our commitment is unwavering. |
9. We Stand for the Future: We envision a future where men no longer suffer in silence, where the paradigms of “man up” and “be a man” are replaced with messages of empowerment, balance, and healing. We see a world where men and women stand side by side, each fully empowered, each fully recognized for their unique strengths and contributions. We are building this future, one step at a time, with every story shared, every life touched, and every heart healed. |
